Hey all. I just got Radegast and a Second Life account. But gow do I navigate and do things? I type the commands, such as go 2 meters, but it shows up as regular text. Any help would be appreciated.

When I tried to download Radegast, it took me to the website for my isp, after clicking on the link from the guide site.

Did you go to http://radegast.org? That's where the client can be gotten, and you'll need to go to http://secondlife.com to make an account. As for what Second Life is, it's a virtual world where you can do various things. Radegast is a client to this world, because the Second Life main client isn't accessible.

I'm having problems myself... I am trying to run the radegast client on a mac and I need to download the latest X11 server but the X11 I need to download only takes me a page is unavailable.. frustrating and annoying to say the least :( my account on there is blindsamurai as well... hopefully I can get this rolling soon

You'll need to use //go (with two slashes). Unfortunately I'm not sure that you'll have luck accessibility-wise with the mac client.

I haven't heard good things as far as Mac accessibility is concerned ... you never know. They may fix it.

The Mac client will fail miserably, as it uses X11 rather than Cocoa for its UI (think a similar windowing system as is used on Linux). As the client is written using the .NET Framework, porting it to use the Cocoa UI framework would be ... challenging, and likely require maintaining two separate codebases.

I wonder how well the Linux variant will work. I don't know yet, for I don't have the Mono packages it needs to work.
